En øvelse is the first single from my upcoming album. It was written in a spring that never seemed to begin. My boyfriend had left me, I had knee surgery and couldn’t walk. So there I was, waiting for spring to arrive.
It’s a kind of folk song, chamber pop and lo-fi indie, featuring my intimate voice, acoustic guitar, warm strings, synths, lo-fi beats and choir. The Norwegian noise musician Lasse Marhaug co-produced the track, as he did with the rest of my upcoming album.
